NEEDLE FELT WORKSHOP
What a fabulous Tuesday morning at the needle felting workshop with Dorothy & Dympna. Some gorgeous felted animals & brooches were created by those new to Felting. We even had some help from a couple of lovely young girls (see photos).
Thanks to Gail & Anne for enticing passersby. & lastly many thanks to our fellow feltees who came along to support us.

NUNO SCARF WORKSHOP
Another great workshop by FeltMakers' North. As part of August Craft Month, this workshop was open to both experienced and new felters alike. Led by the talented Ann McCullough everyone got down to business thinking about colour and design. Patting, rubbing & rolling followed in the afternoon. All rather exhausting & a further cuppa was required. Thank you Mandy 👍🏼. The results are shown below. Beautiful scarves using fine merino, locks, silk chiffon, tussah & mulberry silks were produced. The workshop was thoroughly enjoyed by all & we hope to have a few new members join us in September.

OPENING NIGHT
Feltmakers' North opening night at Lisburn City Library as part of August craft month.
Our exhibition was kindly opened by Mayor Councillor Morrow & our Chairperson, Gail Cooke. The event was attended by some 75+ friends, family, guests and with over 85 exhibits to view a great time was had by all. There was some beautiful background music by a local pianist & of course helped by a little glass of wine served by Emily & Amy.
The exhibition continues into September and I shall update the gallery & blog/fb pages over the coming weeks.
